It is funny that people still need convincing. I am old enough to remember when the seat belt laws were passed. Even prior to that, I don't remember not wearing a seat belt, but I do recall some choosing not to. I also remember people arguing that you shouldn't wear a seat belt because you may not be able to get out of burning or submerged car.

ReplyDeleteSince my dad was a first responder (firefighter), I was always crystal clear on the necessity of seatbelts. Couple of those stories was all it took.
