Seriously though, these people have some large huevos. Iran doesn't take kindly to protests. I greatly fear that we're a couple of days away from this.

OTOH, we could be a few days away from this. Here's hoping...

steves, 7:23 AM: I am not going to hold my breath for democracy in Iran, since they already have it, based on the 1979 constitution. B Mac, all of those countries you mention (even Africa), were colonies and in a much different situation than Iran. In addition, Africa received plenty of outside intervention in overthrowing colonial power.

Again, I am not suggesting invasion or military intervention. That would be a disaster and democracy has to come from within.
