Iran ain't got nothing on House Republicans.

Seriously though, these people have some large huevos. Iran doesn't take kindly to protests. I greatly fear that we're a couple of days away from this.

OTOH, we could be a few days away from this. Here's hoping...

If the people of Iran can usher in freedom on their own, it will also deflate the goals of the neocons who think that every middle east nation needs to be invaded to spread democracy.

Bob, try to name ONE country that gained independence without an American invasion.

Other than Canada, Mexico, all of South America (except maybe Panama), Africa, the rest of the Middle East, India, the Eastern Bloc...

BMac, you gotta stop hanging around with Ms. Palin, Africa isn't a country.

HA, as if... next you're going to be telling me that dinosaurs and humans didn't exist at the same time, and the Earth is billions of years old.

I am not going to hold my breath for democracy in Iran, since they already have it, based on the 1979 constitution. B Mac, all of those countries you mention (even Africa), were colonies and in a much different situation than Iran. In addition, Africa received plenty of outside intervention in overthrowing colonial power.

Again, I am not suggesting invasion or military intervention. That would be a disaster and democracy has to come from within.
