Mitt Romney doesn't seem like the kind of guy I can sit down and enjoy a beer with and therefore I will not be voting for him. Plus, I'm not even sure Romney knows what beer is.

You know what was the indication we were all doomed? When Adlai Stevenson ran for president in 1952 and his opponent (Eisenhower) beat him by painting Stevenson as a wimpy egg-head. The mob had spoken--they wanted the average joe over the intellectual. That was the beginning of the end.

In 10 years we'll be picking our presidents American Idol style. (more people vote for that than in presidential elections anyway).

I, unfortunately, agree.

And that is when I move to Ireland, write a book, and retire on a sheep farm, yelling at the sheep in my old age because I think they're politicians.

So which candidate out there now is smarter than us, and is somoene we can have a beer with?

Maybe McCain. Or Rudy.

None of the Dems. Barak and Hillary are smart, but I don't know if they are beer worthy.

Doesn't matter in MI, though. The only person we can vote for is Hillary!
