Here's another fine example of mockery being the best defense against the idiots.
In Tennessee, state lawmakers want to prohibit teachers from discussing homosexuality in the classroom. Somehow, if you don't talk about gay, then nobody will be gay.
As only he can, George Takei has a solution:
It's OK to be Takei.

I wish I could claim to be surprised, but this is Tennessee. It has been a long time since I was in school, so I am unaware as to what gets presented to children in sex Ed. That being said, I can't sympathize with the anti-gay crowd in any way. Whether or not a person believes that being gay is immoral is irrelevant to the fact that there are gay people out there. I fail to see why children need to be insulated from this.
