So easy to blame those we don't like, such as when the OKC bombing happened, suspected Muslims were harrased (even if they spoke Spanish) when all along it was a white American citizen.

That being said the venom being spewed by the Beck/Palin wing is extremely dangerous.

Religious wars are not so hard to start, EXTREMELY hard to stop, and usually the stopping attempt occures in the ruins of a society when it is tried.

steves, 5:32 PM: One article said he belonged to some Islamic advocacy group. It is more complicated and there is no shortage of people jumping to conclusions. Last I heard, the assailant was admitted to psych unit at Bellvue. I certainly don't think it is reasonable to speculate until we know more and I doubt we will get the whole picture any time soon.
