For the first time this general election season, a ticket has crested the 270 vote minimum to win the electoral college. Today, Real Clear Politics took Virginia out of the toss-up category and awarded it to the Obama camp, having seen their poll averages raise above the margin of error.

A new Public Policy Polling (PPP) poll has Obama with an 8 point lead in Virginia

Plus, a new poll from the American Research Group (who apparently suck at polling, but continue to do it anyway) has Obama up 8 points...

...In WEST VIRGINIA.

But they have him up only 1 point in Minnesota.

Lord I wish I had paid more attention in "Econ 405; Statistical Analysis", so I could know what the hell is going on.

I can't let myself believe. I'm still drinking until Gore takes Florida and then there was Kerry in Ohio. The stress of hope is too much...
